GUARANTEES – TERMS & CONDITIONS
Steering racks and suspension parts – 12 months on steering racks and suspension parts supplied and fitted by Steering Centre
Terms & Conditions: The steering rack and/or suspension parts were fitted to the vehicle by Steering Centre.
- Steering Centre receives written notification of the defect within 12 months of date of invoice.
- The sole extent of liability for defects is as recorded herein and Steering Centre shall not be liable for any other liability including damages or consequential damages. Liability is limited to money back not exceeding the total amount of the invoice.
- The steering rack and/or suspension parts have not been taken elsewhere for repair and the vehicle has not been worked on by anyone other than Steering Centre.
- Modified suspension is not guaranteed.
- The vehicle is used in a normal transporting environment and is not used off road or for racing.
- Damage has not occurred because of bad roads or potholes.
- Driveshafts Centre cannot accept responsibility for wheel caps, trim rings and similar parts when their retaining clips break because they have become brittle.
- Labour is warrantied for 3 months. This warranty will be void if the installed parts have been subjected to misuse or abuse.
- Vehicles are stored and driven at the risk of the vehicle owner.
Water Damage / Liquid Ingress Exclusion
Steering Centre does not accept liability for any failure, defect, or damage resulting from water ingress, flooding, or liquid contamination.
This includes—but is not limited to—damage caused by:
- Driving in heavy rain
- Pressure-washing the engine bay
- Leaking engine or cooling components
- Water entering electric steering racks, motors, sensors, or control units
Any steering rack, including electric power steering (EPS) racks, that has been affected by water or liquid damage is not covered by this guarantee and must be replaced at the customer’s cost.
