Your vehicle’s suspension is something that is often overlooked until it’s too late. Your car’s suspension supports several tons of metal each year.
Over the years, suspension repair is inevitable. Without regular suspension maintenance, you are more and more likely to experience serious issues when driving, such as difficulty controlling your vehicle.
At Steering Centre, we prefer preventing serious damage as early as possible, so you can rest assured that your vehicle is safe and you’re in for a smooth ride.

The Ride is Rough & Bumpy
Probably the first and most important sign your suspension needs a checkup.
Pulling / Drifting Feeling
This will feel as though your car steering is pulling in a certain direction.
The Vehicle “Dips” when Braking
If you car feels unstable or like its “dipping” when you make then your suspension might need to be checked.
Tyre Treads Are Uneven
Unevenely worn tyre treads are a sign that your suspension isn’t operating optimally.
Shocks Are Damaged / “Oily”
If you can see your shocks and they look oily or damaged it’s imperative to get these checked.
Try The Bounce Test
With the car in “park,” press down on the front of the vehicle with all your weight, “bounce” it a few times, then release. Do it again on the rear of the vehicle. If the car continues to rock or bounce more than 2-3 times after you release it, the suspension is wearing out.
